Supermaven is an AI code completion tool that focuses narrowly on producing extremely fast, high-quality inline completions, powered by its custom Babble model with a 1-million-token context window for deep repo awareness. It is available as an extension for VS Code, JetBrains, and Neovim and provides chat features as a complement to completions. After being acquired by Anysphere (Cursor) in 2024, parts of Supermaven’s tech now also power Cursor’s tab model, while Supermaven continues as a standalone product.
