Overview
Open-source autonomous coding agent platform (formerly OpenDevin) that handles software engineering tasks end-to-end.
Details
OpenHands (formerly OpenDevin) is an open-source autonomous coding agent platform that handles software engineering tasks (coding, testing, browsing, debugging) through a sandboxed environment. It provides agent orchestration primitives, sandboxed execution, and a UI for assigning and monitoring tasks. OpenHands is widely used as the OSS reference implementation for autonomous coding agents and as a research platform for evaluating agent capabilities (itβs used in SWE-Bench evaluations).
