Nuance DAX (Dragon Ambient eXperience) Copilot is Microsoft’s AI clinical documentation platform (part of Nuance acquired by Microsoft) integrated with Microsoft 365 and major EHRs (Epic, Cerner). DAX Copilot uses Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI service for clinical AI. DAX Copilot is one of the largest AI scribing offerings by deployment, competing with Abridge, Suki, and Nabla in the enterprise health system market.
