IBM watsonx Assistant is the rebranded successor to Watson Assistant, integrated into IBM’s broader watsonx AI platform. It enables enterprises to build conversational AI agents for customer service, IT helpdesk, HR, and other functions, combining classic intent-based dialog with generative AI grounded in curated content via Conversational Search. The platform supports voice and chat, integrates with Salesforce, ServiceNow, and contact center platforms, and runs on IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or on-premises.
