Devstral is a family of open-weight coding models from Mistral AI, fine-tuned in collaboration with All Hands AI for agentic software engineering. Devstral models are designed to drive autonomous coding agents (like OpenHands) that explore repos, edit files, and run tests, and they post strong scores on SWE-bench Verified for their size. They are released under permissive licenses, runnable on a single GPU, and integrated into Mistral’s hosted API as Codestral and Devstral endpoints.
