Details
Connected Papers is a visual literature exploration tool that builds interactive graphs of related research papers based on citation co-occurrence, not just direct citations. Given a seed paper, it generates a network of papers most similar in their citation patterns, helping researchers discover relevant work in adjacent areas they might miss with keyword search. The tool offers Prior Works (foundational papers), Derivative Works (recent work building on the seed), and exportable bibliographies. Connected Papers is widely used as a complement to Google Scholar and traditional databases.
